# Getting Started

This page walks you through signing up, signing in, and setting up the resources you need before you build your first agent.

## Sign Up

There are two ways to join Karini AI.

### By invitation

A superuser or admin invites you to your organization. Once you receive the invitation email:

1. Open your web browser and go to <https://app.karini.ai/signin>.
2. Click **Sign Up**.
3. Fill in the required information:
   * **Full name:** your full name
   * **Email:** a valid email address for communication and account verification
4. Click **Submit**.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish signing up.

### As a community user

Community users can sign up on their own and follow a guided onboarding flow with email verification. Community users can also create and manage their own knowledge bases directly from the platform.

## Sign In

You can sign in to Karini AI in several ways, depending on how your organization is set up:

| Method                     | How it works                                                                                                               |
| -------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Email and password**     | Use your registered email and password. For security, you'll also enter a verification code sent to your registered email. |
| **Continue with Google**   | Sign in with your Google account.                                                                                          |
| **Continue with Azure AD** | Sign in with your Azure AD credentials.                                                                                    |
| **Single sign-on (SSO)**   | Sign in through your organization's identity provider, such as Okta or Ping Identity.                                      |

The first time you sign in, Karini AI may show a Setup Wizard. Follow it to configure your environment, or click **Opt-Out** in the top right corner to go straight to the homepage.

## Set Up Your Resources

The **Getting Started** menu in Karini AI guides new users through setting up the resources the platform needs. Power users also see quick actions there to create a prompt or a recipe directly.
